What We Take For Granted

nytimes.jpg Does anyone really stop to think about where and how New York City manhole covers are made. I know I didn't. That is until I saw this audio slideshow photojournalist Adam Huggins made for the New York Times. Adam has been living in India for the last five years. He paid a visit to the factory in Calcutta where NYC manhole covers are made. What he brought back is amazing footage of an incredible process. You'll never look down at a manhole cover the same way again. See the slide show HERE.
