Ice Invader Soaps

invadersoap Boing Boing recently blogged about a soap maker on Etsy who has cleverly adapted our Ice Invader trays to mold a great looking soap set. Wonder what scent goes with alien annihilation?  Looks like the sets are currently sold out, but you could easily pick up your own tray and give it a shot.

luke Luke Boggia is a former Fred studio member as well as a talented musician and filmaker. He, along with Ashleigh Carraway make up The Awsome Brothers. Recently, Luke entered and won a contest to reinterpret the Miss America theme. The video they produced, won them a trip to Vegas, a brodacast of their video during the pageant and a pretty great story. Click HERE to see the very funny video. The Boom Boom Room

‎Posted May 06, 2008 in Company News, Stuff We Like. Tagged with .

We love fun, interactive retail spaces that engage shoppers and make the buying experience more interesting. We were very happy to receive photos of two brand new spaces in Russia called The Boom Boom Room. Hand-painted graphics of missiles and bombs line the walls of the Moscow shop, while the Samara space features comic-style badasses . We are happy to see our stuff on the shelves, and hope the Boom Boom Room is a real bang. See more images here 1 2 3 We would like to feature more retail greatness on our blog. If you sell Fred, and have a killer space to show off, please let us know.

Faces in Unexpected Places

As designers, we force ourselves to see the extraordinary in the ordinary, finding humor or whimsy in everyday items. That's what makes this Flikr set of photos so great. It's a collection of faces in objects you could easily walk by without a notice. Stop and have a look HERE. Link Via Roadside Scholar
