All of our copy wrangling is done right in the studio — from the double entendres to the classic witticisms and idioms. So when
this article came across our desk about the newly coined "crash blossoms" we had to share it.
Defined as "a label for such infelicitous headlines that encourage alternate readings" you'll find them in such hilarious headlines as:
“Giant Waves Down Queen Mary’s Funnel” and “Gator Attacks Puzzle Experts”
We think the headline writers knew exactly what they were doing…
